Jekyll
The ocean water is brownish and murky at Jekyll Island not because it is polluted. According to the Jekyll Island Authority official 2018 Spring guide, the tide pulls water from the marshes mixing sediment and microscopic life into the ocean. This creates rich and healthy water where wildlife thrives. I'm guessing that includes sharks. The water is too murky to tell... But by far, it is the best beach I have ever walked. And great for running.
